design program
In the initial conversations and meetings we explore the needs, desires and loose parameters of the project. After the design program is defined, we begin with broad strokes, using pictures and sketches of interior spaces and furnishings to establish preliminary design concepts for the client's review.
As the project begins to unfold and the client gives further direction, we begin developing space plans and specifying the furnishings, materials and resources needed for the project. We also initiate preliminary budgets. In tandem, the details of the program are refined with written documentation, research and necessary computer aid designs (CAD).
Following approvals, implementation begins. This phase includes purchasing, project coordination and management, contractor/artisan acquisitions, installation and merchandising.
